COMIT AI Labs

COMIT AI Lab approaches artificial intelligence as both subject and method. As subject, AI raises some of the most consequential questions of our time—about the nature of knowledge, the future of human work, and what it means to think and create. As method, we are building the infrastructure for AI-assisted intellectual production, exploring how these tools can extend and deepen rather than displace the work of serious inquiry.

Underlying both is a conviction: the deepest challenge of AI is not purely technical. The values and purposes that guide AI systems can only be as good as humanity's understanding of its own ends, and any shallowness in our conception of human flourishing will be amplified by systems capable of acting on it with extraordinary reach. As machines imitate more and more forms of reasoning and analysis, the deeper powers of human knowing—moral judgment, spiritual perception, the search for meaning—become more visible rather than less. COMIT exists at precisely that intersection.
