Nader Ardalan
Nader Ardalan is an architect with a long and distinguished international career in the fields of planning, architecture, and historic preservation. His work and research reflect his particular concern for cultural and ecological aspects of architecture. He has previously held positions at Harvard, MIT, Yale, and Tehran University and is the co-author, with Laleh Bakhtiar, of The Sense of Unity: The Sufi Tradition in Persian Architecture. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Architecture, Culture, and Spirituality Forum.

Thomas Fisher
Thomas Fisher is a Professor in the School of Architecture, Director of the Minnesota Design Center, and former Dean of the College of Design at the University of Minnesota. A graduate of Cornell University in architecture and Case Western Reserve University in intellectual history, he was the Editorial Director of Progressive Architecture magazine and was recognized in 2005 as one of the nation’s most published architecture writers, having written 12 books, over 60 book chapters, and over 450 journal articles.
